2025 Eurasian Otter Workshop

Very happy to be invited to speak at the 2025 Eurasian Otter Workshop on our results of 8 years of otter research using our well educated detection dogs to collect scientific data! Especially excited to share our latest insights from our recent huge dataset on over 2000 bridges.

Rather than advocating for the unrestricted use of conservation detection dogs, our objective is to conduct research on optimal deployment strategies that maximize their efficiency and impact. Only through such an evidence-based approach can their remarkable potential be fully harnessed.
